Privacy Policy

The short version

Dog Grooming Planner is designed to work without an account. The grooming calculator runs in your browser, and the dog profile information you enter — your dog's name, breed, photo and grooming dates — is stored on your own device using your browser's local storage. We do not operate a database of your dog profiles, and that information is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently, so keep a copy of your printable plan if it matters to you.

Information we receive automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting provider records basic technical logs when you visit: your IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. These logs are used to operate the site, prevent abuse and understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell personal information.

Payments

Premium purchases (My Dog Grooming Planner) are processed by Stripe. When you buy, Stripe collects your payment details directly — your card number never touches our site or servers. We receive confirmation of the purchase and the plan purchased so the site can unlock your premium features in your browser. Stripe's handling of your data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Advertising and cookies

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Third-party vendors may also use cookies to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies at any time through its settings; the calculator and planner will still work, though premium features unlocked in your browser rely on local storage staying intact.

Local storage

The site stores small pieces of data in your browser's local storage: your dog's profile and grooming dates, and a marker showing which premium plan you've purchased (so the site can unlock it without an account system). This data never leaves your device through us. You can delete it anytime by clearing your browser's site data — note that this also removes your saved profile and premium unlock on that device.

This site links to other websites we operate or recommend, including GroomingPreview.com and Stripe checkout pages. Once you leave DogGroomingPlanner.com, the other site's own privacy policy applies to your visit there.

Children

This site is written for adult dog owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information — for example, if we introduce user accounts or cloud storage in the future — we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above before the change takes effect.

If you have questions about this policy or your information, you can reach the site owner through the contact options on GroomingPreview.com.
